Kim Kleine
Kim G. Kleine, MS, CIH, CSP is the Principal of The Kalvis Group in Nashville, TN. Kim has over 30 years of experience in the environmental health and safety profession, providing comprehensive industrial hygiene services to industrial, construction, and service industry clients across the United States. Her expertise includes environmental and occupational health exposure and control assessments, program development and auditing, and development and implementation of training programs and technical references.
As a Regional Industrial Hygienist and Senior Industrial Hygienist, Kim coordinated industrial hygiene service for Maryland Casualty Insurance’s southeastern region, comprised of 10 field offices. As a Senior Industrial Hygiene Consultant for Zurich Insurance, she provided comprehensive industrial hygiene services to customers’ domestic and foreign operations. Since 2007, she owns and operates The Kalvis Group, expanding her client base to include commercial insurance companies, industrial, construction, and service industry clients.
Ms. Kleine holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Biology and minor in Chemistry, and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional. She is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Society of Safety Professionals, and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. She has been appointed to the Metropolitan Safety Advisory Council to advise Nashville’s Mayor on current metropolitan government and safety issues. In addition, she serves on Murray State University’s OSH Advisory Council for the Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
